For engineers week, we took part in two challenges. The first was to work in teams to make a sturdy bridge using spaghetti. The teams first investigated the features of different types of bridges around the world before working together to make their own plan. The then used spaghetti to bring their action plan to life. Both teams made successful bridges! The second challenge was to make geometric domes from toothpicks and midget gem sweets.
